Dive Winnipesaukee is thrilled to announce an incredible dive and exploration trip to Australia. The trip has 3 options of different lengths and Australian destinations. All of the options have been priced leaving from Los Angeles. This allows customers some freedom of choice in scheduling and paying for travel within the United States. Some may choose to use frequent flyer miles. Please be assured that we can assist you with arranging your USA domestic flights. Just let us know.

OPTION #1: 11 Days / 9 Nights - Nov. 8 - 19, 2019, Explore Cairns, Australia; 1 week Spirit of Freedom Live-Aboard

OPTION #2: 14 Days / 12 Nights - Nov. 8 - 22, 2019, Explore Cairns, Australia; 1 week Spirit of Freedom Live-Aboard; Explore Sydney, Australia

OPTION #3: 17 Days / 15 Nights - Nov. 8 - 25, 2019, Explore Cairns, Australia; 1 week Spirit of Freedom Live-Aboard; Explore Ayers Rock, Australia & Sydney, Australia.

You will note that there are a few Optional Day Tours included in options 2 and 3, however, there are many more that can be selected. Information on other Optional Day Tours will be available at a later date. Please note that the Optional Day Tours are not organized group tours.

TRIP OPTION #1: 11 Days / 9 Nights - Nov. 8 - 19, 2019, Cairns, Australia; 1 week Spirit of Freedom Live-Aboard.
This itinerary departs from Los Angeles on Friday evening, Nov. 8th, with arrival in Australia on Sunday, Nov. 10th. Stay in Cairns, Australia for one night before boarding the Spirit of Freedom the next morning (Monday). You’ll have the opportunity to perform 24 – 26 dives while on the live-aboard. After disembarking from the Spirit of Freedom on Monday morning, Nov. 18th, stay in Cairns for one more night. Depart Cairns on Tuesday, Nov. 19th and arrive back in Los Angeles on the same day after crossing the International Date Line.

International Flights - Los Angeles to Brisbane, Brisbane to Los Angeles.
Australian Domestic Flights – Brisbane to Cairns, Cairns to Brisbane.
US Domestic Flights are not included in trip pricing.
Accommodation - Cairns (1 Night), Spirit of Freedom (7 Nights), Cairns (1 Night).
Shuttle Transfers - Cairns: Airport to Accommodation (Return).
Live-Aboard Dive Expedition includes: Transfers to/from Cairns city.
Live-Aboard Dive Expedition includes: Opportunity for 24 to 26 dives on the Great Barrier Reef, En-suite cabin with daily service, Chef prepared meals, Australian wines & soft drinks with evening meal.
Visa Issuance - Provides entry into Australia.

Stay in Cairns, Australia for one night before boarding the Spirit of Freedom the next morning (Monday). You’ll have the opportunity to perform 24 – 26 dives while on the live-aboard. After disembarking from the Spirit of Freedom on Monday morning, Nov. 18th, stay in Cairns for two more nights then travel by air to Ayers Rock in the Australian Outback for 2 nights. Then travel by air to Sydney and stay for 3 nights. Depart Sydney on Monday, Nov. 25th and arrive back in Los Angeles on the same day after crossing the International Date Line.

There are some additional per person expenses that will need to be paid onboard the Spirit of Freedom.

Tipping in Australia is not customary, mandatory or expected.

We have begun accepting $150 per person initial deposits to reserve spots for the trip.

We have firmed up our Australia Trip Presentation Night at the Wolfeboro Corinthian Yacht Club for Thursday, June 7, 2018 starting at 6:30pm. Our speaker is an Australian Trip Planning professional (a native Aussie) who will outline all aspects and options for the trip. Time will be available for questions from the audience. You must RSVP by email to info@divewinnipesaukee.com by June 5, 2018 if you wish to attend. Please include number of people attending. Please, serious travelers only. Thanks.

IF you’re already excited enough to want to reserve your spot(s) on this trip, please provide us with a $150 per person deposit right away. You’ll need to let us know which trip option and which cabin type you’re signing up for. A second deposit of $350 per person will be due following the night of the presentation. A third deposit of approximately $1800 per person will be due on September 15, 2018. Final payment will be due on or before August 1, 2019. Please contact us if you have any questions.
